The Story of Gravetooth Rex

The cliff clans of Primeval never domesticated Gravetooth Rex. They learned to follow him.

For three migration seasons, the enormous tyrant-beast appeared before storms, stampedes and volcanic ashfalls, taking routes that seemed suicidal until the ground behind him collapsed. Hunters began marking his tracks. Entire villages eventually learned that if Gravetooth moved with purpose, the safest path was often the one he had just torn open.

His title came from a fossil shard embedded through one jaw after a territorial fight with a stone-backed predator. The injury should have killed him. Instead, the bone healed around it, leaving a jagged pale tooth visible even with his mouth closed.

In battle, Gravetooth’s first victory changes everyone nearby. Might Champions following him gain confidence because he has already broken the terrain, the formation or the opponent’s nerve. Momentum is literal with Gravetooth: once the first obstacle falls, the next charge begins before the dust settles.

Primeval shamans did not send him through a Thread. He walked into one after smelling something on the other side.
