The Story of Whisper Crow

Whisper Crow may be one person, several people or a very organised flock.

Nocturne’s information markets treat the name as a professional standard. A black-winged silhouette appears, exchanges one secret for another and vanishes before anyone can decide whether the voice was male, female or even human.

In Arenas, the ambiguity becomes tactical. Until reveal resolution completes, opponents perceive only Shadow resonance. Everything else—body, type, exact technique—remains concealed behind layered misdirection.

Whisper is not invisibility. It is selective truth.

The Guardian designation comes from what the Crow protects: identities of witnesses, escaped servants, cursed children and anyone else whose survival depends on not being accurately described.

A noble once offered enough money to buy a city block in exchange for the location of one protected informant. The next morning, every wall in the noble’s estate carried his own private correspondence instead.

The Convergence created a problem Whisper Crow had never faced.

Some foreign beings do not recognise identity the same way Nocturne does.

The Crow has started learning new kinds of secrecy.
