All forms with this SW-C code share one Champion identity for Weave copy limits. Collector treatments remain cosmetic and never change combat power.
The Story of Thicket Warden
Thicket Warden has roots in places its feet have never touched.
The creature is formed from intertwined trunks, vines and fungal tissue connected to a Verdant Reach network stretching across kilometres of forest. Cutting a branch harms the walking body. Destroying the body does not necessarily end the Warden.
That distributed identity explains Rooted. Arena hazards that swap stats rely on redefining what a Champion is doing or how qualities are arranged. Thicket Warden resists because its sense of self is literally anchored elsewhere.
The Guardian emerged after a fungal blight began crossing between groves. Verdant druids expected to burn infected sections. The network instead grew Thicket Warden and sent it walking along the disease boundary, isolating contaminated roots with living barriers.
It has never spoken.
It does, however, arrange fallen branches into patterns that other Verdant organisms seem to understand.
The Convergence creates a problem unlike any blight. Threads can connect soil networks that evolved on different Shards.
Thicket Warden has begun standing beside active portals for days at a time, roots spread across the threshold but never fully crossing.
Nobody knows whether it is guarding Verdant Reach from the other side or the other side from Verdant Reach.
