The Story of Bloom Serpent
Bloom Serpent’s flowers are more dangerous than its fangs.
The long forest serpent carries a chain of symbiotic blossoms along its spine. Each species produces a different pollen, but one reacts specifically to heightened secondary performance in nearby creatures.
When an opponent gains a positive secondary modifier, Venom Bloom releases just enough pollen to dull part of that added advantage.
The effect is subtle: slower reflex, blurred focus, softened resolve or reduced leverage depending on what the secondary stat represents. Base capability remains untouched.
Verdant healers collect shed petals because tiny doses can calm creatures overwhelmed by magical or chemical enhancement.
Poachers once tried harvesting the flowers directly. The serpent allowed them to approach, then bloomed every species at once.
They woke two days later arranged in a neat line beside the trail with no memory of the previous afternoon.
Bloom Serpent is a Specialist because the ecology on its back is more important than ordinary predation.
The Convergence has caused new flowers to appear between established scales.
One only opens near Cosmic Champions.
Nobody knows what its pollen does yet, and nobody volunteers to test it.
